This
would be beneficial for students who have “print disabilities such as those who
have difficulty reading paper based information due to dyslexia, visual
impairment, learning difficulties or those whose physical impairments prevent
them from handling and reading the printed word can benefit from having
material scanned into the computer” (SNOW).
After watching the video, I learned how accommodating this software is for students with visual and learning disabilities. Any teacher who has a student with these types of disabilities should really look into scan and read software.
