Choice Cards



The next example of a communication card for students with Autism is the Choice Card. The Choice Cards purpose is to give the student a way to communicate what they want to work for or as a means of giving the child a choice in what they want by showing them pictures of objects they can choose. 

For example, at snack time they can choice between two things a banana or pretzels.

This is a great communication tool for students that allows them to have a choice of their wants. Having these quickly available is important to the effectiveness of the cards.
