As this journey comes to an end, I wanted to give the
teachers out there some “teacher friendly” resources to use in their
classrooms. I have used these websites and found them to be very helpful.
This website helps teach you about UDL through activities,
videos, and tutorials. I found this to be extremely useful when learning about
UDL and how to put it into use with my lessons.
This website is a great resource for
teachers to use to help build UDL into the curriculum. You can self-check
yourself within your lesson plans.

- “This free online tool helps educators build options and flexibility into each element of the curriculum (goals, methods, materials, and assessments) in order to reach and engage all students”. (http://www.cast.org/learningtools/udl_self_check/index.html)
When
I used this website I found the tutorials extremely useful! It helped give
examples of how to break down the barriers for each of your students’ needs. “The Curriculum Barriers Finder tutorial
teaches you how to find hidden barriers in curriculum. The tool and
downloadable template provide structured supports for analyzing your own
curriculum in light of the students in your class.”
And
lastly, the website http://www.cast.org/teachingeverystudent/tools/main.cfm?t_id=10, is an activity based on the three strategies of the brain
network for UDL learning. It helps teach the what, why, and how of UDL. I would
recommend this to any teacher to help them learn more about UDL and its
concepts.
